ESF and EDF Delegation Visit Rusinga Island to Review Project Progress

Rusinga CBO was pleased to host a delegation from ESF and EDF during their recent visit to Rusinga Island. The purpose of the visit was to follow up on the works that had been implemented with support from ESF, particularly at the water pumping station.

During the visit, the delegation inspected the improvements made at the pumping station and received updates on the impact of the project on water service delivery within the community. The team expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved and the positive outcomes realized through the partnership.

The visit also provided an opportunity for Rusinga CBO to showcase other development initiatives that have been implemented with support from various funding partners. The delegation toured several project sites and learned about ongoing efforts to expand access to clean and safe water, strengthen infrastructure, and improve the livelihoods of local residents.
